Always Available
At Hunley Hall an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course are
usually open every day. Depending on the course of the day
pars can range from 68 to 73 giving all standards of player
a rewarding game. We still have an 18 hole course open even
when work is being carried out on part of the course so
there is limited disruption to members.
Winter Holes
As we have 29 holes of golf there are 18 holes available
to play even during the winter months. Winter greens are
never used at Hunley Hall as the greens have been designed
to USPGA specifications. With Buggy tracks in 9 holes, golf
is enjoyable all year round!
Free Access to Practice Facilities
Excellent practice facilities, unavailable at most other
clubs, are free of charge to members, and are all located
near to the club house. There is no need to book these facilities-just
bring your clubs and plenty of golf balls! Practice your
short game on the 700 square yard putting green or brush
up on the pitching green with two practice bunkers. For
the long game there is a two hole practice area with two
target greens. Members also receive a discount on the purchase
of range cards. The range is open everyday and is floodlit
on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings until 7.30pm
during the winter.
Refurbishment
A programme of refurbishment was completed in 2003. Members
now have extended changing rooms refurbished with plush
wooden lockers and spike-proof carpet. The Members Bar has
also been refurbished to a very high standard and extended
to provide a snooker room. This has given members a luxurious
area to relax and entertain their guests reflecting the
quality at the club.
A rolling programme of upgrading, greenkeeping equipment
and clubhouse refurbishment, e.g. buggy tracks, shows our
commitment to the Members section.
